ACC’s vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury.  As a Test Analyst responsible for producing test artefacts (e.g. Test Scripts, Requirements traceability and Test Reports) as well as for the hands-on execution of test activities to ensure they meet business requirements to a quality standard.

This is a fast pace and exciting Test Analyst position where you will be involved in all aspects of testing from maintaining test policies, assisting with the creation of test strategy and plans to designing test scenario’s. You'll be an important part of a team of test professionals who have a sound understanding of software development.

Key responsibilities of the role and what you need to be successful:

•        University Graduate with an ISTQB Foundation Qualification
•        Preferably 3 years’ experience in software testing
•        Good understanding of and practical experience in testing techniques
•        A basic understanding of the full test life cycle, particularly as it fits with the overall solution development life cycle methods, tools, controls and techniques (e.g. agile, waterfall, Prince2, SDLC, etc.)
•        Ability to make decisions at the appropriate time; taking into account the needs of the situation, priorities, constraints and the availability of necessary information
•        Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•        Ability to drive innovation and adopt new ways of working
•        Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team performance
•        Ability to produce well-structured and easily understood documentation and make persuasive presentations that can be understood by stakeholders; this includes but is not limited to, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Requirements traceability etc.
