We are looking for a Principal Advisor who is passionate about data to help us make the customer experience second to none.

 

This is a senior role where you’ll be expected to work with a range of stakeholders and business leaders.  You will bring a high level of thought leadership and analytical expertise to address issues of strategic importance, ensuring effective delivery of insights and analytical solutions.  You will also be well connected across the analytics and insights landscape and provide leadership in agile teams and within a continuous delivery environment.

 

Above all else you will:

  • Deliver insights that drive changes and improvements to the customer experience, customer processes, customer services and customer-facing activity.

  • Establish strong working relationships with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and promote ways that data and analytics plays a role in achieving those objectives.

  • Provide a ‘translation’ function whereby the needs of the business are understood and drive appropriate interrogation of the data, while resulting outputs are converted into actionable insights that non-technical people can understand, consume and act upon.

  • Build the capability of the wider analytical team by providing mentoring and guidance, particularly in the areas of storytelling, visualisation and supporting business objectives.

  • Have a proven ability in developing pragmatic solutions to a wide range of business problems and opportunities.

  • Have a talent for articulating and communicating the right data story given the business context and tailored for the target audience.

  • Have an enduring professional curiosity for approaching problems from a range of perspectives and using your keen business acumen to generate actionable insight.

  • Be a committed team player, working, contributing and learning within our collaborative environment.  As a senior member of the team you’ll also play a significant role in mentoring and helping others.
