Portfolio Analyst – 6 month contract, Wellington

ACC’s vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury.  We have an opportunity in our Portfolio Management Office for a seasoned Analyst with 4+ years’ experience, you will know that having timely, accurate and meaningful information can make a world of difference in a faced-paced project environment.

The Portfolio Analyst will assist development of an optimised portfolio, maintaining an integrated view of change, analysing trends, reporting on and improving project delivery and benefit realisation performance. This role will provide advice to projects within the assigned Workstreams, assisting them to navigate their way through the system to “do the right things at the right time”.

A key aspect to the success of this position will be your experience in portfolio planning, project management practices, analysis and reporting. Critical to this role is your ability to think and act strategically on your feet and build relationships to influence the best outcomes for ACC will be your advantage.

A proven track record of portfolio management practices will hold you in good stead as will your ability to interpret strategies and business plans to ensure future change opportunities are aligned. 

Experience with Waterfall, Agile Principles and Scrum delivery frameworks is necessary.  Strong interdependency mapping, risk, issues and benefits and assumptions management, along with effective written and verbal communication skills will serve you well.
