This is an opportunity for a manager at the top of their game to lead ACC’s employee communications team.

Reporting directly to ACC’s Head of Communications and Engagement, this person will join a strategic leadership team that is partnering with the business to achieve its customer-led ambitions. We’re looking for a highly experienced communications and engagement professional who will be an integral member of our team to support our strategic direction, and an inspirational leader for a team of employee communications professionals. 

This role will be specifically responsible for leading the design and delivery of ACC’s employee communications and engagement strategy and plans to ensure the successful delivery of ACC’s customer-led strategy and business plans. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that the strategic vision and direction supports improved employee engagement and business performance. 

What we’re looking for To be successful in this role:

You’ll have extensive experience in leading teams in the design, implementation and management of communications and engagement strategies and plans that balance the interests of customers and stakeholders within a complex organisation.

This is a critical leadership role in ACC’s multi-disciplinary communications and engagement team. You will be an experienced people leader with well-developed relationship management and influencing skills. Inclusive, collaborative and a highly strategic thinker, you’ll be comfortable working closely with senior leaders in a changing environment. Your deep understanding of employee communications and engagement, problem-solving skills and ability to extract simplicity from complexity will be key strengths.
