You'll have experience as a Lead Developer who is comfortable working in a Java (Springboot) environment, leading a team of talented developers in an Agile and collaborative working environment. You’ll have the opportunity to shape and influence the technical direction of ACC’s self-service offerings across the Digital portfolio.


You'll be confident sharing your knowledge and experience, provide mentoring and guidance to the team to achieve optimum delivery. You’ll be the type of leader who's keen to get stuck in and lead by example. You’ll have learnt a lot from successful projects and the odd stunning failure in the past.


If you tick these boxes, then we would love to talk with you:

  • Extensive web development experience
  • An expert level understanding of software development and architecture principles and best practices
  • Strong experience with CSS & JavaScript frameworks, OpenShift, JAVA, Web API, Azure DevOps, AWS, MSSQL & MySQL Spring Framework, Sprint Boot, Java 8 to 11, React, Jenkins, Docker, Transactional SQL, Maven, Gradle
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
  • Proven project track record
  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile environment
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) along with great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate openly and constructively with the immediate dev team, as well as with the wider team and management
  • Results orientated mentality and skilled problem ­solver
