ACC’s vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury.  We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications and Engagement Advisor to join our Provider Engagement Team to develop, execute, edit and engage.
With more than three years’ experience, you will enjoy building relationships and writing communications strategies and plans. With the responsibility of the team’s digital channels, you will be a confident editor and have proven experience building good relationships, engaging with people to develop and deliver work that reflects our customers’ voice.
You’re that special person who can listen, consider and challenge with a smile on your face and the goodwill of your partners intact. You’re a fantastic negotiator, know how to influence and you can build rapport with your eyes closed. A lateral thinker, no one can accuse you of getting stuck in a box and ‘technically competent’ goes without saying.
To be successful you will also be:
  • Experienced at managing the development and delivery of communications strategies and plans to customer segments
  • Capable of providing proactive communications advice to managers and staff
  • Comfortable working with business leaders to identify communication and marketing needs and issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Strongly focussed on the customer and have excellent relationship management and networking skills
  • Highly collaborative, flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and to prioritise tasks and meet several competing deadlines
  • Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing or business, working experience to equivalent level will be considered.
