Lead our Enterprise Business Rules team in delivering the Enterprise Business Rules strategy to support the wider organisation and its strategic goals.

 

As part of ACC’s Business Process Improvement team, the Business Rules Lead is responsible for leading the effective and ongoing improvement of the Enterprise Business Rules (EBR) practice at ACC.  The EBR practice facilitates identification, documentation and management of business rules and development of decision models which support ACC to provide a consistent customer experience, enable identification and development of automation opportunities and build customers’ trust and confidence.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Operationalising the EBR strategy, ensuring timely and effective delivery of business rules activities within the wider business process improvement framework
  • Working in partnership across the business to increase understanding of enterprise business rules, understand business needs and support change initiatives and projects to deliver value
  • Demonstrating tangible value to senior stakeholders to support continued investment in the EBR capability and enable the discipline to be recognised as a key enabler to deliver to better customer outcome
  • Enabling ACC to deliver decision automation to improve the staff and client experience and enhance client outcomes, through leading delivery of decision models and tools
  • Developing and building out the Business Rules framework to support future delivery of business rules, ensuring effective training, standards and guidelines are in place to support stakeholders
  • Effectively leading the business rules team, ensuring operating rhythms and team practices enable success. Building a cohesive, constructive and supportive team who are clear on their purpose and capable and motivated to deliver. 
  • Ensuring governance over business rules is effective and that there is effective quality assurance of rules in place.

 

What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in the collaborative development of new ways of working to increase value to key stakeholders
  • Expertise in development of business rules and good understanding of the role business rules can play within process improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in building a positive and productive team culture
  • Proven experience in delivery to a defined strategy will be key along with your ability to collaborate new ways to increase value to the business through well-articulated business rules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident with technology and working with technology stakeholders
